A drunk driving accident has left one Santa Ana family devastated after their son was critically injured by a drunk driver. The ten year old boy was in the crosswalk at 17th Street and Cabrillo Park Drive when Suray Leon, the drunk driver of a Ford F-150, ran a red light and struck the child. The boy was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Suray Leon now faces charges for Felony DUI.
A serious bicycle accident occurred on Monday, April 7th in Rancho Bernardo. A 72 year old female drunk driver struck a 62 year old bicyclist and then fled the scene. The 72 year old drunk was driving a Hyundai northbound on Pomerado Road when she collided with the bicyclist. The bicyclist suffered a fractured spine, head injuries, and fractured ribs. An investigation later revealed that the automobile driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
A fatal drunk driving accident took the life of 27 year-old Rachel Anne Morrison on March 28, 2014. The accident occurred on Camino Del Mar and Coast Boulevard in Del Mar, California. Ms. Morrison, a pedestrian, was crossing the street, when Christopher Stockmeyer ran a stop-sign at a high rate of speed, striking and killing Ms. Morrison.
A deadly drunk driving accident occurred on Route 94 in San Diego on Sunday February 23, 2014, killing La Mesa resident John Mathew Hajosy. The driver of the black BMW sedan that killed Mr. Hajosy was intoxicated and driving on the wrong side of State Route 94 when he collided head-on with the Hajosy vehicle.
After a 17 year-old drunk driver killed their son in Carlsbad last week, the parents of Vincent Edward Zellefrow Jr. will be hosting a memorial in his honor this coming Saturday. Vincent was a bright, energetic young man who was studying at MiraCosta College with plans to transfer to UC Berkley to train to become a music teacher. Sadly, his aspirations came to a close far too soon, after a 17 year old drunk driver hit Vincent while he was skateboarding with a friend and then fled the scene. The underage driver also had illegal narcotics in her system at the time of her arrest.

Zellefrow was attending MiraCosta college with intentions to transfer to UC Berkley to pursue a career as a music teacher.
A 43 year old man was killed in a tragic bicycle accident on January 26, 2014. Gerald Zoleta Garcia was riding his bike with a friend in the designated bicycling lane when he was struck and killed by a car. Garcia was flung from his bike where he died on the spot from blunt force trauma to his brain. Garcia's friend was not injured.
A fatal drunk driving accident occurred on January 10th on I-805 in San Diego. The drunk driver, William Cady, survived the accident, but three of his friends who were passengers in his vehicle were pronounced dead on site. According to prosecutors, Cady's friends asked him multiple times to slow down his vehicle, to which Cady responded, "This is my car, and I will drive as fast as I want..." Shortly thereafter, Cady lost control of the vehicle, which flipped over, causing several following vehicles to smash into Cady's flipped vehicle. The drivers of the following vehicles sustained injuries after their cars slammed into Cady's flipped SUV.
